My life

   I'm Melissa, but my real name is Chanraem. It is my Thai name but it is hard for American people to say my name so, they just call me Melissa. I am sixteen years old now. I'm Thai and now I live in America to study. I am a exchange student from Thailand and live with a host family. My life is so busy for study because I study in U.S and they speak English. I been here for four month ago and I might live here for four years to finish my study. So, I can not speak English of all. That is why my study is hard. I have to study harder than other people. I work hard at night, do my homework, study for quiz and test that I have every day at school. But I think I do every think best that I can do. Sometimes I'm tire and feel lonely because I'm worry about study. Sometimes I'm homesick, miss my mum in Thailand, friends, or my old school in Thailand. When I am homesick I called mum and talked with her. Now, I am in 9th grade at LCS. I like to study Math because I like math. So I can say my life is busy, but it is also have a good time to live in U.S. When I get bore or tire from work or study I like to draw or listen to music. They make me feel better. My friends at school are nice to me and help me sometimes. Now I like U.S but also miss Thailand.  

   I have one brother and I  have a sister from host family, she is Korean. However, my life just have a lot to do, but I also have fun too!. I like to study and read although it make me tire, but also help me to happy from study. So I love to study!!!

Salto Angel Waterfall

Location: Canaima National park
River: Gauja (Rio Gauya), tributary of Rio Churún. The last in turn is tributary of Rio Caroni. The name - Gauja - to the river has been given by Latvian Alejandro Laime, who was the first to reach this waterfall by land. The other Gauja river is located in Latvia - in fact it is among the most beautiful rivers of Latvia. Often there is made mistake by telling that this waterfall is on Rio Churún.

Other information: At the lower part the waterfall is 150 m wide. Europeans discovered the waterfall in 1935. Waterfalls is named after James Angel - American adventurer, who had to make an emergency landing with his plane nearby in 1937.

         Angel Fall is highest fall in the world. It plunges 3,212 feet, with the longest single drop of 2,648 feet (979m/807m) from the top of a mesa, or what the natives call a Tepuyi. Named "Auyantepui", the Angel Falls mesa is one of over a hundred of its kind which are scattered about the Guiana Highlands of southeast Venezuela. Like so many slumbering giants, what characterizes these mesas (Tepuys) is their massive heights soaring up towards the sky, each with a flat top and totally vertical sides (check out the picture at left). Also called "table mountains" (which accurately describes their shapes) these Tepuys were formed out of sandstone billions of years ago. Their vertical sides are continually being eroded by the action of water from the heavy rainfall the Guiana Highlands gets.

It is a small but beautiful waterfall with a special characteristic all of its own, that is the water cascades through a rock pipe or another words a large round hole. Walking into the waterfall you can cross over some good old log crossings that get you over some deep crevices. Make sure you hold onto the younger ones.

Wang Kwang Waterfall

Wang Kwang Waterfall of Thailand is a waterfall where nearest the accommodation just only 750 meters away. It is not very high and looks like a hole down the hill.

Nearby the forest, there are many deer so that this waterfall is called “Wang-Kwang Waterfall”. Because of Wang Kwang Waterfall is a crossing for tourist so is not squash.
Tum So nor Waterfall in Phukradung National Parks of Thailand.

Tum So nor Waterfall is located from Wang Kwang visitor centre about 4.8 km. It is high 10 meters and there is only one level. Tum So nor Waterfall was from the collapse of the land. It also looks like Pen Pob Waterfall. The north area of Tum So nor Waterfall has Rose bush in the summer.

      Thi  Lo Su isa name of water fall located in the Umphang wildlife Sanctuarv.a USESCO World.Heritage site in Tak Province,Thailand.In Thai we called "Namtok Thi Lo Su"(Namtok mean waterfall)

      Thi Lo Su is not Thai name.But as I did some reserch .The word "Thi Lo Su" is a local language from North.It states that Thi Lo mean water fall and Su mean loud,so basically Thi Lo Su mean a really loud waterfall.It make loud noise because of its size and the amount and the intense flow of the water'However in Karan,Thi Lo Su has different meaning "Black Waterfall". 

      Thi Lo Su is claimed to be the most beautiful gorgeous waterfall in Thailand.It is actually the 6th biggest waterfall in the world,so it is huge.The waterfall of the limestone cliff at the height 200-300 meters to the tiers surrounded by natural forests.And just like in all limestone landscape,behide the waterfall ther is a big cave that interest whoever visit the place.
